Those who know me know that I am blessed with many things — including a love and appreciation for great food. After traveling a huge portion of the world and dining in some of the best restaurants, the older I get the more impressed I become by restaurants that have the heart and soul that comes from uncomplicated, delicious food true to its origin and location.
In other words: Great Concept, ID, Service & SLOW (Seasonal Local Organic & Wholesome) direction with food and beverage.
One of my favorite restaurants is Mlyn 108, located in Modra, Slovakia, Central Europe.
The owners are a Chef and Restaurant manager team, alongside their friends and family, and the location is in a fantastic restored mill. Mlyn 108, recently-voted best restaurant in Slovakia, highlights their concept with a very short menu representing regional cuisine and products.
