Grapes of Humanity and Magna Children at Risk Rebuild Medical Facilities in the Philippines
We would like to share both the great news and our thanks to Grapes for Humanity Canada, its Board of Directors and co-chairs Liz Galley and Cathy Martin, and all that were involved in raising funds for our partners, Magna Children at Risk, and helping them rebuild two medical facilities destroyed by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
November 8th marked a year since Haiyan displaced millions and flattened communities. 6300 people died and 16 million lost their homes.
Magna provided emergency assistance to communities by addressing acute and immediate trauma needs and providing hygiene kits, food packages and shelter for more than 15,000 people.
Our grateful thanks to both our partners Magna and all those who continue to support their lifesaving work.
